Expense-gate: The Disclosures continue…
The Telegraph’s teaser for tonight
If anybody thought that the Telegraph’s exposes of MPs’ expenses would end with the exit of Michael Martin then they’ll have to think again.
For it’s back to the usual routine – a teaser put up in the early evening followed by the names involved from about 10pm.
Day 14 of the disclosures promises us what’s billed as “perhaps the most bizarre claim uncovered so far – a £1,600 pond accessory.” Who could that be. We should know later on.
The Daily Mail, meanwhile, is reporting that “Brown faces cabinet revolt as Hazel Blears and senior ministers fight to survive expenses scandal” .
To think this is only at the end of its second week.
