Tomorrow’s only interesting bet – whether UKIP will get more votes than the LDs in Corby

After my plea yesterday for more betting markets for tomorrow elections William Hill has put a few up.

I can’t see any other victor than LAB though the 1/100 is hardly tempting. The Tories, who won the seat at the general election, are not going to lose their deposit.

So the only interesting market is whether, UKIP will win more votes than the LDs. The latest polling suggests that they will.

Meanwhile on the Police Commissioner elections Anthony Wells of YouGov has put up an article in effect denying his own polling. The firm reported on Sunday that 28% of those asked said they were “certain to vote”. Anthony is saying that he thinks that turnout will be lower.

I’m on with Ladbrokes that it will be above 17% – which is no longer being offered.
